Pirette Beach is committed to making pirettebeach.com usable for everyone, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or a keyboard instead of a mouse.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Keyboard navigation: menus, the currency selector, carousels, pop-ups, and the cart, search, and menu panels can be used with a keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link lets you jump past the header.
- Screen-reader labels: buttons, form fields, links, and images have text labels or descriptions.
- Zoom: you can pinch-zoom and enlarge the site on phones and tablets.
- Color contrast: we improved the contrast of text and buttons so they are easier to read.
- No auto-advancing slideshows: slideshows only change when you choose to move them.
- Captions controls: our video players include a captions control where captions are available.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded YouTube videos and the store locator widget, may not fully conform. We are working with these vendors to improve it.
